R-Studio Instructions

R-Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) for R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management. From this Science Gateway it is possible to instantiate your personal R-Studio instance just pressing the 'SUBMIT' button.

Once confirmed the execution, the interface informs about the resource request status and the user can update the status pressing the 'REFRESH' button.

When the resource is ready, the interface will change, prompting the access credentials and providing a link to access the privare R-Studio instance.

Once the instance in no longer necessary, it is possible to release it pressing the DELETE button. The interface will change again showing the progress of the operation and it will return to the main interface.

It is possible to reserve a limited amount of resources on the back-end Cloud infrastructure. Eventually the overloading situation will be notified to the user.

This site does not guarantee the presence and integrity of the personal instance during its lifetime. For troubles or assistance, you can contact the responsible.
